Volunteers needed for community clean-up day

The city of Springtown encourages residents to show their hometown pride by participating in its Clean Sweep Community Clean-Up Day Saturday, April 11.

Volunteers should meet from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Tabernacle pavilion. Opportunities include trash pickup, minor landscaping at community facilities and small park improvement projects. Participation in the event’s entire time duration is not required. Officials state even one hour is helpful.

The city invites residents to bring their friends, family, co-workers and civic groups to lend a helping hand.
