First United Methodist Church in Springtown has been running the Snack Pack Ministry program since 2013, offering packaged food items and goods to local students in need through a volunteer-driven effort supported by church members and the broader community.
The effort predates the arrival of the Rev. Terre McGill, who joined the church in 2023. She said the program was already well-established when she stepped into her role.
“It was a well-oiled machine,” McGill said, noting the ministry’s long-standing commitment to community service.
