McKenzie Bratcher is proud to be the salutatorian for the Class of 2026, calling it a testament to her willingness to strive for perfection, balancing academic excellence and extracurricular activities.
“It feels pretty great,” Bratcher said. “I put a lot of pressure on myself just to be the best and do the best — I’m still so proud of myself for coming this far because I know that I worked so hard to get here. It hasn’t always come super easy.”
Bratcher enrolled in honors and dual credit courses throughout her four years in high school, becoming the secretary of the school’s National Honors Society chapter and competing in the UIL Ready Writing contest.
