Optimist Food Truck Park debuts in Springtown

Residents and vendors gathered Friday, April 24 for the debut of Optimist Food Truck Park, the latest addition from the city’s downtown improvement initiative.

The opening drew a steady crowd of visitors and marked a shift for a space that many residents said had long gone underused.

Chyanne Gunter and Chris Kristensen, who have resided in Springtown for almost a decade, were the park’s very first customers. They described the change as a much-needed improvement.
