Reno April 20 council meeting canceled due to lack of quorum

The Reno City Council canceled its Monday, April 20 meeting after being unable to establish a quorum due to multiple absences. 

Mayor Hector Bas, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Ed Braun and council member Shelli Swift were present in person, while council member Kevin Vandenberg attended virtually.

However, sudden illness and an unexpected family emergency prevented other council members from attending, leaving the council without the minimum number required to conduct official business.
