North Texas churches unite to deliver storm relief in Springtown
Residents affected by the storm lined up their cars at Legacy Church Tuesday, April 28 to receive meal kits and supplies.

Legacy Church partnered with several North Texas faith-based groups during the week of May 26 to distribute meal kits to residents impacted by the EF-1 tornado that struck Springtown April 25.

Working alongside Gateway Church, The Food Co-Op and The House of NAM, the church was able to act as a community hub to provide a truckload of meal kits and supplies donated by Operation Blessing.

“We think churches are in competition, but we’re not,” said Pastor Gary Veazey.
