SISD has once again earned national recognition for its commitment to music access and education to all students, receiving the 2026 Best Communities for Music Education award from The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.
This marks the ninth consecutive year the district has been recognized.
Robin Hidrogo, SISD director of fine arts, said the repeated recognition exemplifies the district’s long-term investment in music education programs followed by the support of educators and the community.
