WCSUD approves grant pursuit for future water plant

The Walnut Creek Special Utility District approved a proposal at its Monday, May 18 board meeting authorizing Quiddity Engineering LLC to pursue a state grant application which funds future water infrastructure and development. 

Patrick Campbell and Mohammad Bayan of Quiddity Engineering presented the proposal during the board meeting, requesting authority to pursue funding through the state’s $1 billion House Bill 500 grant program administered by the Texas Water Development Board.

Walnut Creek SUD intends to pursue up to $21 million for planning, land acquisition and design connected to future water supply projects.
