FMCSA art contest open to K-12 students through June 5

Young Springtown artists from grades K-12 have until Friday, June 5 to submit artwork for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s national “Our Roads, Our Safety,” art contest, a program designed to teach children roadway safety around large trucks and buses through artistic expression.

The FMCSA art contest asks students to create artwork that promotes safe driving habits and awareness around commercial vehicles. Submissions are divided into four grade-level categories:

  • Kindergarten through second grade
  • Third through fifth grade
  • Sixth through eighth grade
  • Ninth through 12th grade
