Parker County Judge Pat Deen and Precinct 1 Commissioner George Conley provided updates on county growth, infrastructure and ongoing projects during the Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon Thursday, May 28.

In the beginning of his State of the County update, Deen addressed the demand for water throughout the county’s communities and emphasized the importance of the Parker County Public Utility Agency.

“If we don’t do something, we’re going to be out of water in the coming years,” Deen said. “We’re going to need help and I think the public utility agency is going to provide resources to the county as a whole — working together collaboratively, solving issues countywide.”
