After months of strict dieting, intense training and balancing family responsibilities, local trainers at Trident Fitness Tyler Jones and Jesse Iglesias recently stepped on a bodybuilding stage for the first time at the Ronnie Coleman Classic Saturday, May 16, bringing home first place in their respective primary divisions along with top places in additional bodybuilding divisions.

Jones earned first place in the Novice A Classic Physique Division while Iglesias won first place in the Heroes Classic Physique Division, a division for military and first responders.

“It brings to the term — fog of war — it’s all a blur,” Jones said as he described how both men are still processing the competition. “We went up there — it was a blur. I was vibrating with adrenaline and I’m still shaking.”
