Tri-County Amateur Radio Club recognized ahead of June 22-28 Amateur Radio Week

The city of Springtown recognized local amateur radio operators during its city council meeting Thursday, May 28, proclaiming June 22-28 Amateur Radio Week in Springtown. During the proclamation, the council honored members of the Tri-County Amateur Radio Club for their efforts in providing emergency communications, supporting local organizations and serving communities across the Parker County region.

Representing the club were President Chris Fuselier, Vice President Chad Boultinghouse and ham radio operator Mike Burns.

Council member David Martin and fellow ham radio operator with the call sign W5EBB, presented the proclamation on behalf of the city.
