Children and parents filled the Springtown Public Library parking lot Wednesday, June 3 for one of the library’s most popular summer activities — rock painting.
The event served as an early kickoff to a season of activities designed to keep children engaged during the summer break.
Springtown Library Director Andie D’Avignon said this year’s summer theme celebrates America’s 250 years of freedom and is being coordinated alongside programing at the Springtown Legends Museum.
