The Springtown Education Foundation will celebrate a milestone June 11 as local businesses and community supporters gather for the foundation’s 25th annual golf tournament at Cross Timbers Golf Course in Azle.
Springtown Mayor Mike Kelley, who serves as chair of the golf tournament committee, said the fundraising event also brings supporters together for a morning of camaraderie and community engagement.
“It is a great way to invite the people who’ve supported us in one level or another to come out and play and just spend the morning playing golf,” Kelley said.
