“Weather weenies” — those who follow “Ryan Hall, Y’all” on social media — will want to know that the channel’s nonprofit foundation, The Y’all Squad, flew in under the radar to help a few local people after a tornado outbreak in Parker and Wise Counties April 25.

What began as a severe weather-tracking YouTube channel has grown into a nationwide disaster relief organization helping communities recover after devastating storms.

The Y’all Squad, a Kentucky-based nonprofit organization, was founded in 2023 following the tornado that struck Rolling Fork, Mississippi.
