In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the Texas State Library and Archives Commission has provided a historical banner exhibit at the Springtown Public Library.

The free display, available inside the library, features a series of informational banners highlighting key moments from the founding of Texas through the present day.

Library Director Andie D’Avignon said one of the exhibit’s most valuable features is its use of authentic historical documents, helping visitors connect with Texas history through reprints of original records and images.
