Springtown’s America 250th Celebration Parade is set for Saturday, July 4 beginning at 10 a.m. Event Coordinator Rachele Ortega said the city invites businesses, schools, churches, civic groups, veteran organizations, first responders, youth sports teams and families to participate in the once-in-a-generation event.

“When people look back on Springtown’s America 250 Celebration years from now, I hope they remember how our community came together,” Ortega said. “I hope families make memories together, children experience the excitement of a hometown parade, and neighbors take pride in celebrating alongside one another.”

Ortega said parade participants are to showcase themes of patriotism, American history and community pride. Entries may include decorated floats, classic vehicles, marching groups, horseback riders or other creative displays that tell a story.
