The Springtown Independent School District welcomed new teachers during its New Teacher Luncheon Tuesday, July 28 at Watkins’ Oak Knoll Ranch.
The annual event introduces teachers to the community support and resources available as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
The Springtown Education Foundation announced it will provide new teachers with $250 grants to help decorate their classrooms. Teachers also received welcome bags sponsored by local businesses and organizations.
