Community puts ‘Hands Up’ for mental health
The Hands Up for Mental Health Community Event will take place Saturday, Aug. 15 at First United Methodist Church in Springtown.

Safe Harbor Counseling Center will host its first Hands Up for Mental Health Community Event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 at First United Methodist Church, 109 W. Third St. in Springtown.

The event is funded through a Texas Health Resources Community Impact grant and organized in collaboration with Joyful Ranch Counseling and First United Methodist Church.

Additional community organizations supporting the event include Serenity House Impact, Family Resource Center, Children’s Advocacy Center of Parker County, and more.
