Scout raises $1,010 for Springtown Animal Shelter
Springtown Troop 303 Scout Andrew Langston raised $1,010 and secured animal supply donations for the Springtown Animal Shelter as part of his Eagle Scout project.

Author: Jose 'JJ' Balderas

Andrew Langston, a 15-year-old Scout with Springtown Troop 303, has completed one of the biggest milestones on his journey toward becoming an Eagle Scout by organizing a donation drive for the Springtown Animal Shelter.

Langston, who has been involved in Scouting America since first grade, said his natural love for animals inspired the project.

Over two days, Langston organized family, friends and fellow Scouts to staff donation tables at NRS Feed and Tractor Supply Co., collecting essential items for the shelter and raising $1,010 in monetary donations.
