Bijay Waiba never expected his path from Kathmandu, Nepal, to the United States would eventually lead him to a goat ranch in Springtown.

Waiba, owner of Sajha Ranch, came to the United States at the age of 24 and later served in the United States Army at Fort Drum, New York.

“Ranching was not my first dream,” Waiba said. “My dream was to be in the Army.”
