In October 1959, the legacy of Chadwell & Son Gas Co. Inc. began with a young and ambitious Kenneth Chadwell in Springtown.
According to Chadwell’s son, Kerry Chadwell, his father had one problem: he was too young to put the company’s first commercial truck in his own name.
“He couldn’t put a truck in his name until he was 21,” Chadwell said.
