Springtown joins Parker County PUA

The Springtown City Council approved the city's participation in the Parker County Public Utility Agency and a related funding agreement during its Thursday, Sept. 24 meeting.

City Administrator David Miller said joining the agency gives Springtown a role in regional water planning as Parker County continues to grow.

“We all understand that water is a precious commodity,” Miller said. “As the area continues to grow, this gives us the opportunity to get on the front end of the development of the public utilities agency.”
