National Custodian Day, observed every Oct. 2, is a day of appreciation and recognition for custodial employees who help keep facilities clean and prepared for students and staff.
Consuelo Flores has spent more than three decades caring for Springtown ISD schools since joining the custodial staff in 1993.
It has been her first and only job since she arrived in Springtown from Zacatecas, Mexico in 1986.
