The Walnut Creek Special Utility District Board of Directors voted Monday, Sept. 21, against moving forward with participation in the proposed Parker County Public Utility Agency.
The Parker County PUA was proposed as a regional effort to help Parker County water providers address future water supply and infrastructure needs.
Walnut Creek SUD General Manager James Blackwood said he believes the PUA could benefit the county in the future but does not believe the proposal has progressed far enough for the district to participate.
