As September nears its end, it feels like we have made it past the seasonal battle against the Texas summer heat.

The heat still lingers through the middle of the day, but it begins to lose its grip when a calm autumn breeze arrives in the late afternoon and stays through the night.

I am sure everyone can agree this summer felt endless.
