Francisco Jesus Mena, who federal prosecutors have described as being of Springtown, was sentenced Oct. 9 to 33 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to one count of threatening a federal law enforcement officer.

According to court documents, the charge stemmed from a May 23, 2025, YouTube comment in which Mena threatened U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

“ICE COMES TO MY HOUSE, I WILL RESPOND WITH A GUNFIGHT,” Mena wrote, according to court documents.
